Steam minced pork with preserved vegetables(冬菜)

I made this yesterday and it was really yummy, reminds me of my mum when she made this she has to be sure my eldest sis is not at home coz she absolutely hates the preserved vegetables(冬菜)!!haha!!

This recipe portion is probably good for 4 person :)

Anyway enjoy this with an extra bowl of steam rice yummmmmy!!

Ingredients

1. 250 grams minced lean pork
2. 2 chinese table spoon of preserved vegetable (冬菜)
3. 1 teaspoon corn flour
4. 1 table spoon sesame oil
5. 2 table spoon soy sauce
6. dash of pepper
7. ½ teaspoon sugar
8. 1 table spoon of chinese wine
9. 2 gloves of chopped garlic
10. 50ml water or less depends on own preference on consistency

Method

1. Wash the preserved vegetables.
2. Ready minced pork, and put it in a mixing bowl.
3. Add in the chopped preserved vegetables. You may chop it finely or just loosely if you want it with more crunchiness , and mixed well into the pork.
4. Mixed in the corn flour, soya sauce, sesame oil, pepper, sugar, garlic, chinese wine, and water according to preference. Mixed well with a spoon.
5. Take a steaming plate, drip some oil and water on the base so the pork will not stick to it. Spread the pork mixture evenly flat on the plate.
6. Steam over high heat for 10 mins. (assuming the thickness of the spread is about 1-2 cm thick, if its thicker, add another 3-5 mins) Alternatively steam over cooking rice.
7. Serve hot with steamed rice!!!
